PHOTOBOOK- PLS TAKE NOTEs

Good day,

How are you? Hope everything is well.

We're thrilled and look forward to printing your student's portfolio in
May. There are a few last minute tips which will be useful for your
students, especially for those who prefers to submit in pdf format

1 . Ensure your student's book must contain an even number of pages
whereby the first and last page is single page and not double spread.

2. Remember to outline all fonts & flatten your images as this would
help to reduce file size.

3. Page measurement must be in the exact measurement as per desired book
dimension.

4. Bleeding space is NOT NEEDED as book measurement is inclusive of
bleeding space (2mm).

5. DO NOT CREATE CROP MARKS.

6. Your students are advised to position your image (and text boxes)
with the important figures a margin away from the edges.

These are some of the precautions for your students because it would be
very inconvenient for them to resize & resend us the file.

Ultimately, we would advise your students to save their design in 300dpi
jpeg in exact book measurements and to be drag & drop into Photobook
Designer.

END OF FORWARD

Photobook submission is on Thursday the 3rd of June. You may submit it in
the Photobook Designer format (downloadable editing software) or as a
multipage PDF from InDesign. Please contact photobook for any form of
support BUT DON'T leave it to the last minute!

Between, Photobook people just called. They will need to meet students who will
submit their photobook so that they can confirm the page, paper, pricing,
etc.

The meeting will be held at the Computer lab on Wednesday, the 9th of June
at 10am. The representative will be Ms. Rina from Photobook Malaysia.
Attendance is compulsory.

Regards,
Hafiz
